The Maggie’s Farm Concept

In October, Jeff Cala and Mark McDonough purchased the former Rock’s/Gaven’s/Daniel Fuller house. Inspired by all the farms in the area and our love of counter-culture music, we decided to name it after Dylan’s famous song that he penned when he broke out of the Folk establishment and went electric. Our concept was to build a fun place for people in the tri-town area to hang out with each other, eat great food, quaff craft beers on draft, listen to inspiring music, and make the personal connections that make life worth living.

Inspired by the farm theme, we purchased a classic 1953 International Harvester Tractor to become the icon of the restaurant. The interior is one big room, covered with recycled barn board from a dismantled 1700’s barn, and filled with barn lights. Maggie’s Farm has a huge oval bar with 12 taps of draft beer—including many craft brews from small local brewers. Plus, we have great sushi. How many pubs can claim that!

The dining room seats 62 people with lots of flexibility to create parties of 6, 8, and 12 people. We heard that folks in Middleton like to travel in packs. : )

We have designed in a semi-private dining room with a fireplace and an iron Moorish chandelier that casts geometric shadows all over the room.
